Would not recommend.. Grandma was submitted after falling and hitting her head. Doctors and nurses were rough with her and did not explain whatsoever how she was or what they were even doing. Care factor was 0.

The problem i see with the reviews is the people from other countries besides Australia seem to think it is OK to go to the emergency rooms when it is NOT an emergency. Unless you are dieing DO NOT GO to the hospital you selfish third world assholes, its not there for a holiday!!!!! Go to the GP if it is not an emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great hospital! I have read a few feedbacks with bad experiences prior to my wife's delivery. Was kinda worried about the service here. Yes initially we got sent home when the water broke (pink liquid) at 7am in the morning after check up but I told the nurse my wife is in alot of pain and that she cant walk to the car (during labour 9am)... talk about comming back?? so we got to stay there until 5:30pm when the baby has been delivered, thank god. Although there were too many doctors /midewives who came and go, i guess its just too busy for other patients so cant really blame them. The midwife who helped my wife delivering was great and did her best although the process required 3 cuts and some stiches (at the theatre). Since it was a big baby 3.5kg, which I cound see why. We get to stay at a private room so I can stay over night to look after my wife and the baby, I guess because of my wife's conditions thats why were at that room. During the 3 nights staying over, we got alot of helps from a few of nurses. Some of them are very gracious and caring but others are abit ignorant although i can see late shift is hard especially not enough staff to be there to accommodate everyone but when they can there was no comunication at times. I noticed some staff I called by the buzzer to check why the baby has rashes on the back... she came and said she doesnt take care of this area and get an rn or registered nurse to come and help me so i waited for awhile like nearly an hr or so I went to the reception myself and got it sorted. Im giving it 4 stars because all services there are under medicare and that i didnt put out any money of my own pocket's like private hospitals do and got a private room. For that its a 5 stars but for everything else it can improve on like sending patients home during labour is can be dangerous especially your first child (athough they have many justifications to) and waiting for no response (lack of comunication). But my experience after the delivery has been really good as baby and mother are healthy, im really happy for that. God blessed you all so I just want to thank you to all the staff who have served us after all. Really really appreciated.

Grandma is so distressed. She's been in the hospital FOR 5 DAYS. When she was suppose to be home after 2 only because NO DOCTORS WERE AVAILABLE TO SEE HER. Fairfield hospital is absolute garbage, you're better off at Liverpool.

Also at night when all the patients were trying to sleep, the nurses would not shut up. They were literally gossiping so loud about their previous patients I had to personally ask them to be quite twice.

Unbelievably rude and arrogant nurses! Their presence is meant to help keep the patience at ease. Their staff have such a bad reputation that i myself and others I know just absolutely hate the phrase "fairfield hospital" !!! If I could give no stars I would!!
